IMPLEMENTATION OF THE SAFETY POLICY
The effectiveness of the Safety Policy is dependent on the people who are responsible for ensuring that all aspects of work, whether in the office or on site, are carried out with due consideration for safety and with minimum risk to health. Ultimate responsibility lies with the Managing Director, but specific duties are delegated to others according to their experience and training.
Company Directors and senior management, both individually and collectively, will ensure that this policy is applied throughout the whole company and that those employed by the company are kept fully informed of its content.
Contracts Managers will ensure that this policy is adopted by all employees, subcontractors and visitors to any specific site.Each individual person has a duty of care to himself as well as to all those they come into contact with during any part of the working day. To assist the company in fulfilling its duties and obligations, an in-house competent person/or external safety consultancy will be appointed to provide health and safety advice and assistance to the management and employees of Afridi Builders Company. The contact details for this person will be clearly displayed on the company notice board.
Whilst overall responsibility for the implementation of the Health and Safety Policy is vested with the Company Directors, responsibility for the day to day application of the policy is delegated to the Managing Director.
To clarify the roles and responsibilities for health and safety, the following duties have been allocated to nominated employees and must be carried out.

Take reasonable care for the health, safety and welfare of themselves, fellow personnel and anyone else who may be affected by their acts or omissions
- Co-operate with others in the discharge of their duties
- Work in accordance with all safety procedures

QUALITY CONTROL PLAN
INTRODUCTION & DESCRIPTION
Afridi Builders Companyunderstands and readily accepts its responsibility to provide quality control over all work and materials associated with the requirement of the organization. Afridi Builders Companywill inspect and test all work under the contract and maintain records of the inspections and tests. We will obtain necessary approvals before delivery of materials to all job sites.
- PERSONNEL
A staff shall be maintained to perform all Quality Control activities. Staffing during any specific work period will be determined by the number and nature of active Task Orders and by the amount of work to be performed during any specific phase of construction. Staffing will be done by the level of current work associated by engineer trade, i.e., civil, mechanical, electrical.
- Quality Control System Manger:
Qualifications
- Shall have a working knowledge of general construction.
- Shall have expertise in a major area of construction.
- Shall have previous experience working in a Quality Control organization.
- Must be civil engineer.
- Quality Control Inspectors:
Qualifications
- Shall have a working knowledge of general construction.
- Shall have expertise in a major area of construction, either through certified education (degree) or at least five years documented work experience in that area.

To insure that all construction activities comply with contract requirements and specifications, the Quality Control functions will include:

Routine Site Inspection:
- Each site with work in progress will inspected and documented.
Contractor Deficiency Tracking Log:
- The direction by inspection to correct deficient or improper work.
Quality Order Follow up Inspection:
- Verifying correction of deficiencies or improper work noted on Quality Order.
Quality Control Inspection File:
- Files segregated by task order containing documentation of daily site inspections, quality orders, and quality order follow up inspections.
